“My wife and I have lived in a number of cities in Canada over the years, and upon getting engaged in Huntington Beach, we felt that we should have our wedding at a destination location. After much deliberation, we decided that it would be great to have a backyard wedding in the LA area. Our choice for the venue was to be either Beverly Hills or Malibu, as we have frequented those areas and love what they had to offer. We came across Gianna’s website one day, and immediately loved her preferred locations. We felt it was prudent to thoroughly research her services before we contacted her to discuss the venues. The reviews were flawless. Our first conversation went very well, so we flew to LA to meet with Gianna and visit a number of venues (hotels, clubs, and estates).
After completing our initial consultation with Gianna, there was no question that we wanted her to be our coordinator. Gianna has access to some of the most beautiful properties in the LA area, and an excellent vendor listing (catering, photography, rentals, floral, music, lighting, etc). Gianna is extremely organized, and her dedication to perfecting our special day was priority number one. Since we do not live in the area, Gianna worked with us to find everything we needed for our wedding. I literally mean everything, except for the wedding party’s clothing, a Danish wedding cake (ordered in Solvang), and our rings. Otherwise, she consulted on every facet of the event. On the actual wedding day (July 21, 2012), her execution was flawless. It is often cliche for one to say in their wedding speech “I would really like to thank ____, because I really could not have done this without you!”. And you think to yourself, “Yeah yeah, whatever!… Seriously, is the bar still open during dinner?”. But to be completely cliche, we truly could not have been able to plan our wedding to the caliber that we did without a trusting, dedicated, well connected, coordinator like Gianna.
Now that our wedding planning has come to a close, I can honestly say that it is somewhat bittersweet… My wife and I couldn’t be happier that we are finally married and we can start to move forward in our new life together, however we are sad that we will not be in contact with Gianna as much as we were before. Gianna was more than just our wedding coordinator, she became part of our family. Thank you so much Gianna!”
Gianna is a wonderful planner, but she also became a wonderful friend. She loves what she does for a living and her passion shows in her work when that special day arrives. She puts all of her love and effort into the event as if it were her special day and I think that is what sets Gianna aside from any other event planners I’ve worked with. I’m a performer and usually I’m the one on the other side of the curtain and I see how most event planners work. This time it was my special day, my wedding day. She made myself and my husband feel so relaxed and worry free on the day of our wedding. She had everything under control and the night turned out to be the most perfect night of our lives. Not only did she make me feel at ease, I gained a sense of security about my event. Gianna was on top of every detail and ahead of every stage of the plan.
